For the fourth consecutive year, Sofia Municipality and the “Sofia – European Capital of Sport” Foundation will offer ice sports enthusiasts the opportunity for sport and enjoyment throughout the winter with the Ice Park in the center of Sofia. The largest ice park in the Balkans, ICE PARK SOFIA, is set up in the Knyazheska Garden near Orlov Most, modeled after the one in Vienna, covering nearly 4 decares—about half a football field. The facility was built on the initiative of “Sofia – European Capital of Sport,” following the model and expertise of a leading Austrian company in this field. The ice park includes a Christmas market, where skaters and their companions can enjoy pleasant moments during the holiday season.
